WASHINGTON (March 2) - Scientists outside Washington, D.C., have announced the first successful cloning of a Republican Party member.

While many researchers have long denied the existence of the technology needed to accomplish such a feat, today's report bears witness that these methods have been around for more than a few years.

Those involved with the project refused to reveal the name of the DNA donor but promised more information will be revealed later in the week.
