In a move to keep up with the times, toy industry leader Mattel announced today that it will be overhauling Barbie for only the third time since the doll's inception.

Barbie will be given straighter, somewhat shorter hair and a smaller chest with a wider waist. More noticable will be Barbie's new face.

Barbie's glamour look will be replaced by a more 'natural' look featuring less make-up, smaller eyes, and a thinner nose.
