It's been a long week for the family of Shady Side Academy student John Baglier. The teen was last seen at the Clearview Mall near Butler on November 9. He is believed to have been abducted by 23-year-old Richard Gamble.
Gamble allegedly used Baglier's credit cards at a WalMart store in West Kitanning, and several gas stations and hotels between here and Arizona.
When police finally caught up to Gamble in Arizona on November 12, Gamble took his own life with a 9mm semiautomatic handgun, leaving the location of Baglier a mystery. Since Baglier's disappearance, hundreds of family members, friends and strangers helped to search for the teen's body. The search has been focused on the immediate Clearview Mall area, as well as a mushroom farm where Gamble once worked. Gamble had bragged to friends that if he ever killed someone, "I'd bury them (at the mushroom farm)."
Baglier was last seen wearing a blue windbreaker with a hood, jeans, socks and tennis shoes. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Baglier is asked to contact Butler police.
